Angelique Haugerud, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Rutgers University
Professor Haugerud is author of The Culture of Politics in Modern Kenya (Cambridge University Press, 1995), based on several years of fieldwork exploring themes of political language and moral economy. She has also co-edited the volumes Commodities and Globalization: Anthropological Perspectives (Rowman and Littlefield, 2000), and The Anthropology of Development and Globalization (Oxford: Blackwell Publishers, 2004). Her current research explores counter-movements to economic neoliberalism and the cultural politics of protest in the U.S
