	Nazli Kibria, Associate Professor of Sociology, Boston University Professor Kibria's father, a prominent Bangladeshi politician and activist, was assassinated early this year. Since then, Professor Kibria has spent much of the time since in campaigning for justice for her father and to bring the issues of political violence in Bangladesh to world attention.
