Francisco Campos-Ortiz

Francisco is a Ph.D. candidate from Mexico City. He has a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in economics from Brown University. His research interests lie in the field of political economy. He is currently working on the topics of corruption, property rights institutions, and collective action.

Ana Maria Tribin

Ana Maria Tribin is a third year PhD student in economics at Brown. She has a B.A. and a M.A in economics from the Javeriana University in Bogotá. Ana Maria worked in the Colombian Central Bank´s division of Macroeconomic models research. She is especially interested in economic growth, labor economic and political economy. Her objective is to study Latin-America’s elections, politics and policy making from an economic perspective.
