Areas of Interest: Poverty and economic development; education, health, fertility, and gender; the role of markets in alleviating poverty.
Robert Jensen is a visiting associate professor (research) at Watson and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He holds a PhD in economics from Princeton University and most recently is the author of “The Digital Provide: Information (Technology), Market Performance and Welfare in the South Indian Fisheries Sector,” Quarterly Journal of Economics (2007).
