Areas of Interest: humanitarian law, international organizations, human security, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, reconciliation, and transitional justice.
Zinaida Miller has been a visiting fellow in international studies since 2008. She is currently a doctoral candidate in international relations at the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
Her work critically examines the fields of transitional justice, international humanitarian aid, and post-conflict statebuilding. She is currently working on a project on the role of humantiarian aid in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Her past work has included examinations of South Africa, Israel/Palestine, and Rwanda, among other areas.
She holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MA in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA in political science from Brown University.
Miller is the author of several articles, including "Settling with History: A Hybrid Commission of Inquiry for Israel/Palestine," Harvard Human Rights Journal 20 (2007) and "Effects of Invisibility: In Search of the 'Economic' in Transitional Justice," International Journal of Transitional Justice (2008).
