Areas of Interest: public international law/theory/intellectual history (specifically issues related to alienation and "humanization"); the nature of international legal discourse/the establishment of disciplinary boundaries; exceptionalism in international affairs; international environmental law; globalization, culture, and technology.

Saptarishi Bandopadhyay is a visiting fellow with the Global Governance Project. He is also an associate at Radon and Ishizumi (New York). He holds a LLM in international legal studies from American University, Washington College of Law, and a BA and LLB (JD equivalent) from the W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences, India.
