The Department Undergraduate Group (DUG)
The DS DUG is a student-run organization that plans activities relating to the DS concentration. In recent years the DS DUG has organized programs, panels, and debates on topics relating to development, as well as a series of social events and workshops for DS students. On November 8, 2004 , the D.S. DUG sponsored the "International Perspectives on the Outcome of the U.S. Election" faculty-student panel. Panelists presented a range of perspectives on the implications of the election results for Latin America , Africa , South Asia , East Asia and Europe . |
