FILM: A Decent Factory (2005),Thomas Balmès. This film shadows a Nokia “ethical auditor” on her trip to China to determine the working conditions under which components for mobile phones are produced. The film follows what happens when a puritan Nordic person with no historical experience of colonialism faces the realities of globalization through her own work.
