FAQs

Are graduate students eligible to apply?

Answer: Not at this time, although we hope to expand the program to include graduate students in the future.

I am taking the fall 2010 semester off to continue my work abroad. Does this make me ineligible for the AT&T Fellowship?

Answer: No, but preference will be given to students who will be on campus in Fall 2010. If you wish to apply but are not planning to be on campus in the fall, please indicate clearly how you plan to complete the media component of your fellowship despite being away from Brown, as this is our main concern with students who will be graduating or otherwise off campus in the fall.

I am studying abroad in Spring 2010. Does this make me ineligible for the AT&T Fellowship?

Answer: Yes. Students must be on campus in spring 2010 to participate in the New Media Fellows study group.
