Miyu Sustainable Land Use Workshop
December 19-20, 2008

The 2008 Miyu Sustainable Land Use Workshop was co-organized by the Miyu Branch of Beijing Land Resource Bureau and the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the direction of Watson Scholar, Shenghe Liu. The workshop was held at the Miyu Branch of the Beijing Land Resource Bureau and was attended by 18 participants from various government departments, research institutes, and farmer representatives.

This workshop was co-sponsored by the Miyu Branch of Beijing Land Resource Bureau and the Watson International Scholars of the Environment Program at Brown University, with funds from the Henry Luce Foundation.
