Program Cost and Fellowship Support The cost of the Program is $15,000. This covers course fees, housing, field trip travel and meals, office space and computer, computer support, curriculum materials, health insurance, and a modest stipend to provide for food and other necessities. The program does not provide airfare from participants' home countries. Several full and partial fellowships will be offered by the Program to the most qualified applicants whose enrollment would be impossible without this support. These fellowships are applied to the costs listed above and not to international airfare. Competition for admission with full or partial support is extremely high. We regret that full financial support is not available for all qualified applicants. Please note also that only applicants from member countries of the Group of 77 (http://www.g77.org/main/main.htm) will be considered for fellowship support. A second group of Program participants is self-financed, covering part or all of the $15,000 program cost themselves. These individuals are supported by their government ministries, universities, international development agencies, or private funding sources. Admission competition is less intense in this category. We are happy to assist applicants in trying to locate funding opportunities.Back to Watson International Scholars of the Environment
